among us video game review

Among Us, the brand new game that is sweeping the nation, is available on both PC and mobile devices. The game has simplistic graphics, but what it does not have in cutting edge features, it makes up for in game play.

The game, although simple, is intriguing because of its original concept. Players begin by registering as either a crewmate or an imposter. While playing the game, crewmates have to complete tasks in order to maintain the map in which they are playing. At the same time, imposters are trying to sabotage the players’ progress and eliminate the crewmates one by one. When players report the bodies of their deceased crewmates, they must decide whether to vote a player out who they think is suspicious or vote to skip if there is not enough evidence to accuse someone of being an imposter.

The game does not require players to have accounts or track progress, which makes for more friendly play rather than a game of competition. This also means that there are no specific usernames for the characters, so players can be as creative as they want with the usernames.

Another enticing feature of the game is its price. The purchase price of the game on a PC is only $5.00. Even better is the option to download the game for free on a mobile device. Players do still have to purchase items such as clothes, hats, and pets, but for a relatively low price. Such items range from $0.99 to $2.99, making the game affordable for most players.

As players attempt to find out who the imposter is, there is a feeling of excitement that they don’t usually find in many other games. Despite its few shortcomings, Among Us is a solid game that won’t break the bank.
