The Harbour Voice is a member of the Columbia Scholastic Press Association and Quill and Scroll.
Our purpose is to promote unity and communication within the Oyster Bay High School community. The paper is distributed free of charge throughout the school and is also available at the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Public Library. We report current events, provide an outlet for students to express themselves, work for a common endeavor in a team environment, and exhibit the skills needed to produce a publication.
We encourage the submission of original work, including signed letters, in response to our publication. Materials must be submitted to TheHarbourVoice@obenschools.org, to The Harbour Voice mailbox in the main office, to any member of the editorial staff, or to the adviser, Ms. Shannon Murphy.
However, the editorial board reserves the right to print, refuse, or edit any submitted material. In addition, unsigned columns in this publication represent the views of the editorial staff, whereas signed columns represent views of the writers.
